Bilingual teaching is one of the methods advocated by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. Based on characteristics of common university and the practice of teaching, we analyzed the feasibility of carrying out bilingual teaching in the common university, and some useful experiences accumulated from practice for bilingual teaching in choosing textbooks, formulating learning outlines, implementing teaching manners and so on.
