| An illustrated account of Puccinia species parasitic on plant families belonging to Ranales (Ranunculaceae, Berberidaceae, and Lardizabalaceae), known from China, is given. Nine species are recognized, of which P. atragenes Hausmann, P. hoiboelliae-latifoliae Cummins and P. podophylli Schweinitz represent new records for China. Taxonomic problems of these species are discussed. Keys to species on different plant families are given. |
