| Single-spore cultures of three specimens of Xeromphalina brunneola collected in the Chang Bai Shan Nature Preserve (Jilin Province) were established. Self-crosses showed a bifactorial mating system. Intercollection matings exhibited universal sexual intercompatibility. Macrochemical reactions indicated lack of both laccase and tyrosinase production. Systematic implications of this work are discussed. |
