| The Systematic Mycology &Lichenology Laboratory (SMLL) was established on 12 August 1985, in Beijing. It was among the first batch of nineteen open labotories / institutes set up by Academia Sinica. The Laboratory was founded on the basis of the Department of Mycology, Institute of Microbiology, Academia Sinica. Although it is subordinate to the Institute of Microbiology of Academia Sinica, it is relatively independent in its research work and conducts scientific activities on its own. |
