2007年3月本刊新一届的编委云南大学、云南省微生物研究所的李文均先生获得了本年度Skerman分类学奖——WFCC (The World Federation for Culture Collections) Skerman Ward for Microbial Taxonomy，并获邀请出席将于2007年10月在德国召开的第十一届世界菌种保藏联盟大会作特邀报告。《微生物学报》编辑部特此向李文均先生表示祝贺！
Skerman分类学奖是世界菌种保藏联合会专为表彰在微生物分类领域做出杰出贡献的青年科学家而设立的奖项，这个奖项的获得标志着我国这几年的微生物系统分类研究的成绩得到了国际同行的认可。

WFCC Skerman Award 2007
I am very pleased to inform you that you have been selected as the recipient of the Skerman Award for 2007. As the successful recipient of the Award you are invited to participate in the WFCC International Culture Collection Congress to be held 7th-11th October in Goslar . You will receive a prize of $2000 together with a return economy class airfare and registration costs to attend the Congress (ICCC 11). You are required to deliver the Skerman Award Lecture on your research which is scheduled for Thursday morning 11 October following the WFCC General Assembly. A slot from 10.30 to 11.00 has been allocated. You will need to pre-register for this meeting on line at http://www.iccc11.de and submit an abstract of your paper.
